Reebok has re-teamed with Korean fashion brand KANGHYUK. The “CLASSIC LEATHER K” will go on sale on February 11 (Fri.), incorporating “automotive industry” elements such as airbags.

Reebok’s iconic classic leather arranged with airbags as inspiration
CLASSIC LEATHER K features a high-quality garment leather upper that wraps around the foot for a snug fit. It is one of Reebok’s most popular models, still loved around the world 40 years after its release for its comfort and clean design. Based on this model, a special sneaker collaboration with Kanghyuk, a fashion brand created by Korean designers Kanghyuk Choi and Sanglak Shon, was born.
Kanghyuk, which became a hot topic when a popular American rapper wore them in a music video, is a brand that is highly acclaimed for its unique items that reconstruct airbag materials. The brand has been nominated for international fashion awards and is attracting worldwide attention as an up-and-coming brand. This is his third collaboration with Reebok in two years. This time, Kang’s signature airbag was the inspiration for the brand’s unique “automotive-industrial” design. The upper is white nylon with red zigzag stitching, and a woven label with Kanghyuk’s brand logo is placed on the side. The foam material is left in a visible cross-section, and the sockliner is emblazoned with the two brands’ names.
