Reebok x Keith Haring’s latest collaborative collection is inspired by iconic archival pieces
Reebok’s “Reebok x Keith Haring” collection is dedicated to Keith Haring, one of America’s most famous artists of the 1980s, and follows the release of the collaborative model in October, which is based on Reebok’s iconic “Classic Legacy” and “GL 6000” as its base. The bold coloring of the collaborative sneakers incorporates pop primary colors inspired by Keith Haring’s archival works.

This pair of shoes is a reflection of Keith Haring’s penchant for isochromatic colors such as orange and green.
“GL 6000 KEITH HARING
This model was inspired by a work with a dog and human motif found in the valuable archives of the Keith Haring Foundation. The dog and human forms depicted in the work mimic each other, and are meant to be used as a metaphor for “what it means to be human (e.g., a member of society)” and, conversely, “what it symbolizes to be a dog (e.g., a person in a position of power or strength)”. (e.g., a person in a position of power or strength). These sneakers have an impact with their bright green, yellow, and orange coloring, which is characteristic of his work.
