Reebok’s brand campaign for 2022 is “Life is Not a Spectator Sport – Life is Not a Spectator Sport – Move, Move, Move. As part of the campaign, which features various artists and athletes, the brand’s iconic “Classic Leather” model will be renewed and released throughout the year. The first of these releases, the “Classic Leather 1983 Vintage,” is a premium pair of shoes that is a modern update of the first Classic Leather from 1983. The Classic Leather, which uses premium natural leather called garment leather for the entire upper, has been Reebok’s iconic model since its release, boasting popularity for its timeless, clean design and excellent fit and comfort. The premium model released this time is available in two colors, chalk and gray, faithfully reproducing the color and design of the original model.
The shoes feature a cushioned terry lining based on the original and side logo labels in shiny taffeta. The full-label shoe tongue features the “Star Crest” logo, the brand’s logo at the time. The upper, with its Pegasus leather and nylon lining, faithfully reproduces the archival design down to the smallest detail. The overall silhouette, on the other hand, is slimmer and more contemporary. The vintage-like design is easy to coordinate with other styles.
