Reebok eightyone 2021 Spring/Summer Collection Vol. 2 features urban finish with monotone colors typical of Kohei Ohkita

Reebok eightyone” has invited Kohei Ohkita of the fashion brand “VINL ARCHIVE” to join the brand as a designer from the spring/summer 2020 season, and will focus on apparel items. Reebok eightyone has released its second collection for the spring/summer of 2021. Led by Reebok’s signature model, the “INSTAPUMP FURY OG,” the collection will feature shorts and other items that will be very useful in the summer. In addition, the urban coloring of the previous collection is still present this season. The collection features monotone items in black, green, gray, and white, all of which are easy to style.

Reebok eightyone is a line featuring a new sports mix style proposed by Reebok together with Mr. Ohkita. The collection, which has an urban atmosphere, is a fusion of sports and fashion created by Mr. Ohkita, and has gained popularity for its unique technique of using different materials in one item to create a three-dimensional effect. As Mr. Ohkita says, “My main goal was to create a sense of “incongruity” among the many Reebok products, past and present,” and he is proud to have created this collection based on his own concept of “the combination of fabrics, colors, and silhouettes,” which is the foundation of VAINL ARCHIVE’s manufacturing. The “sense of discomfort hidden in the combination of fabrics, colors, and silhouettes” that is at the heart of VAINL ARCHIVE’s manufacturing process is something we can’t take our eyes off.
