Church's " Rider (RYDER) " is synonymous with Bond's casual shoes!

Church’s “Rider” with all-around Goodyear welt is different from other chukka boots!

The Goodyear welt method is synonymous with English shoes. Church is known as a brand that carries on the traditional Goodyear welt method. In the case of chukka boots, there are many cases where the stitch-down method is adopted, as in the case of Clarks. However, Church has been adhering to the Goodyear welt method even for chukka boots. Rider uses a soleing method called ” all-around Goodyear welt. Also known as “360-degree Goodyear” or “double-welted,” this method is characterized by the placement of the welt all the way around the circumference of the shoe.

The Rider is a lightweight boot with a sturdy look.

While the Goodyear welt method is generally applied only to the front half of the shoe, this method is applied to the entire 360-degree circumference of the shoe, giving it a sturdier appearance. Also, since nails are not needed to secure the calf, the shoes are lightweight, contrary to their appearance. In addition, because cork can be laid more widely than usual, cushioning is also superior to the conventional Goodyear welt method. Since the rider has a double sole specification, it is easy to feel the sinking of the sole, and you can experience how it fits your foot as you wear it.
