Omega's current 4 models & 3 past masterpieces

OMEGA has produced many famous models, but when we look at the big picture of its collections, we realize that there are surprisingly few of them. In this issue, we introduce four current collections and three past masterpieces!

The Speedmaster, recognized by NASA as a “space watch” due in part to its achievements on the moon, was originally designed for motor sports. The Speedmaster, known as the “space watch” due to its achievements on the moon, was originally developed as a motor sports watch and is one of OMEGA’s most representative series. It is known as the first watch in the world to display a tachymeter (a meter used to measure the speed of an hour) on the bezel, whereas tachymeters were generally displayed on the outer circumference of the dial. The Speedmaster series includes many masterpieces, such as the “Moon Watch,” famous for the moon landing, the ceramic “Dark Side of the Moon,” created in honor of the Apollo 8 space mission, and the “’57,” a modern revival of the original Speedmaster’s design. The lineup includes a number of masterpieces. The brand is also famous for the fact that many celebrities wear OMEGA watches. The famous American actor George Clooney is currently an OMEGA ambassador, and wearing an OMEGA watch has become a tradition in the Clooney family.

The Seamaster was introduced in 1948 to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the brand. It is a collection known for being adopted as a military watch for the Royal Navy and worn by James Bond, the main character of the movie series ‘ 007’, in his films as mentioned above. When it was first launched, the watches were water resistant to the level of everyday life, but now the collection boasts models that live up to their name, ranging from 150m water resistant to professional-grade water resistant of 300 to 6000m.

In addition to the simple and elegant looking “Aqua Terra (water resistant to 150 meters),” the signature of the Seamaster series “Diver 300M (water resistant to 300 meters),” and the “Planet Ocean (water resistant to 600 meters),” which boasts high water resistance as a professional diver’s watch, the vintage-looking “Seamaster The lineup includes five types of watches, including the vintage-inspired “Seamaster 300” and “Ploprof” heritage models that can be used for a wide range of purposes, from full-fledged waterproof watches to everyday use.

Launched in 1952, the Constellation is one of OMEGA’s most popular luxury watches, designed to be The design is simple and elegant. The watches are designed to create a calm yet glamorous adult look. OMEGA earned a reputation as the world’s most accurate watch by achieving numerous outstanding results in observatory competitions held in the early 1900s. This led to the creation of Constellation, a collection composed entirely of chronometer-certified watches. The name “Constellation” means “constellation” in English, and the star is set at 6 o’clock on the dial.

There are two models in the Constellation line. The ” Globemaster “, which featured actor Eddie Redmayne in the advertisement when it was first introduced, was the first OMEGA watch to be awarded the title of Master Chronometer, having passed both the COSC (Swiss Chronometer Certification) and METAS tests. The De Ville, created in 1967, was originally launched in 1960 as part of the Seamaster series It is the only OMEGA collection of dress watches. In the 1960s, shortly after its launch, De Ville had the catchphrase ” so slim it hugs your wrist,” and its elegant design is the essence of what the phrase expresses. De Ville is a French word meaning “city” or “urban.

The De Ville collection includes three models for men: the “Tresor,” “Prestige,” and “Tourbillon. There is also a ” Ladymatic ” for ladies, which makes up the De Ville Collection of four models. OMEGA's Masterpiece Archive (1)The Railmaster, part of the Classic Masterpiece Trilogy

The Railmaster was launched in 1957 along with the Seamaster 300 and the Speedmaster, known as OMEGA’s classic Masterpieces. The “Railmaster” is one of a trilogy of watches released in 1957 together with the “Seamaster 300” and the “Speedmaster”, known as Omega’s classic masterpieces. It is being reissued in limited edition in 2017 as one of the trilogy to commemorate its 60th anniversary, but in the past it was developed as a stand-alone collection. The reissue is equipped with a Master Chronometer movement with the highest level of antimagnetic resistance of 15,000 gauss, bringing the watch back to life with state-of-the-art functionality.

Omega's archive of masterpieces (2)The Flightmaster, a retro-futuristic watch with a sci-fi design

With a design reminiscent of spaceships and robots, this model has a sci-fi feel to it and was designed for pilots. The ” Flightmaster ” was introduced in 1969. The overly distinctive dial design gives this unique model a retro-futuristic sense from around the 1970s. It has a history of being worn by many excellent aircraft pilots and astronauts who relied on its functionality, and is also known as a favorite of novelist Michael Crichton, famous for his work in ‘ Jurassic Park.

OMEGA's Masterpiece Archive (3)Dynamic

The ” Dynamic ” collection, with its retro and distinctive italic font and yellowish colored indexes, was first introduced in the late 1960s. The image shows the “Dynamic III,” the third generation of the series. The design was strongly influenced by military watches and is still highly appreciated by some watch enthusiasts.
