What is Alpha’s masterpiece of military outerwear, the ” N-3B
The N-3B is a military outerwear item that is popular in many countries around the world as well as the MA-1 to protect against the midwinter cold. Its roots can be traced back to the period immediately after World War II, when nylon flight jackets were introduced one after another. In the 1950s, the N series evolved into the N-3A in air force blue (navy blue), which was the uniform color of the newly born U.S. Air Force. A, and its successor, the sage green N-3B, was born. The N-3B, a half-coat length covering up to the waist, was not intended for pilots sitting in narrow cockpits, but was worn as outerwear for transport aircraft and rescue helicopter crews that released their door cocks during flight.
Alpha’s N-3B has been brushed up for town use while inheriting all the excellent cold protection and functions. In addition to being used as outerwear for ground crews at air bases in Alaska, the N-3B is widely favored as a midwinter masterpiece by popular artists and fashionistas in Japan and abroad.
