This time, we focus on Church’s “loafers” and introduce some notable models!

High level of loafer perfection! Church’s”, one of the most prestigious brands in the world of leather shoes

Church was founded in 1873 in Northampton, England, the holy land of shoemaking. At the time of its founding, shoes had no distinction between left and right sides, but Church’s was the first company in history to manufacture shoes with a distinction between left and right sides. In 1881, Church’s shoes won a gold medal at a shoe exhibition in London. The brand quickly became synonymous with luxury shoes. Today, the brand is supported by many fans in Japan as well. Today, the brand’s shoes are still made by skilled craftsmen in their factory in Northampton, where each pair of shoes takes eight weeks and 250 steps to make.

Church’s “Goodyear Welt” manufacturing method is synonymous with sturdiness, minimal loss of shape, and a fit that adapts to the foot as it wears in. Goodyear welt models are also strong candidates for loafers. Although they have a strong image of classic shoe design, decorated loafers also have a high degree of perfection.
