Parker is a British manufacturer of high-end writing instruments. 1888, at the age of 25, the founder George Safford Parker applied for a patent for his first pen, and in 1894 he invented the “Lucky Curve,” a pioneering ink delivery system that prevents ink leakage. He then developed the “Snake Pen” made of gold and sterling silver and the “Trench Pen” with dry solid ink, and by 1918 the brand had grown into a million-dollar stationery brand.
