Parker is a British manufacturer of high-end writing instruments. 1888, at the age of 25, the founder George Safford Parker applied for a patent for his first pen, and in 1894 he invented the “Lucky Curve,” a pioneering ink delivery system that prevents ink leakage. Parker has also appeared in history as a “pen for peace”: in 1945, at the end of World War II, General Dwight D. Eisenhower used the “Parker 51” when signing the German Instrument of Surrender, which was a gift from his friend at the time, General Eisenhower, who was also the first to receive a Parker 51. It was provided by his friend at the time, Kenneth Parker. General Douglas MacArthur also used the “Duofold” as a gift from his wife at the signing of the Japanese Instrument of Surrender.In 2015, the item’s design and body material were redesigned. The ” Royal Warrant ” is a title given only to brands whose quality is recognized by the British Royal Family. Currently, it can only be awarded by Queen Elizabeth II, the Duke of Edinburgh, and Prince Charles. Parker received a Royal Warrant from Queen Elizabeth II in 1962, and was recognized as a brand of writing instruments for the British Royal Warrant.
