The ” Air Jordan 1 ” was created in 1985 in collaboration with basketball player Michael Jordan. It is a well-known story that the initial model, a pair based on red and black, was banned from official NBA games because it was considered to violate the color scheme stipulated in regulations. Nevertheless, Jordan continued to wear them in games, and Nike was happy to pay the $5,000 fine each time. Thanks to this, Nike succeeded in gaining tremendous popularity and has now become a sub-brand. Nike Sneaker Masterpiece Model 2 “Air Jordan 11
As of March 2021, the Air Jordan numbers have appeared up to “35,” of which the “Air Jordan 11” is the second most popular after the AJ1. The Air Jordan 11 was introduced in 1995 and became very popular not only in the U.S. but in Japan as well, due in part to the Chicago Bulls’ victory in the 1995 season, which was led by Jordan wearing the AJ11. The most distinctive feature of the design is the use of patent leather. The “Concorde,” which appeared as an early model, was so popular that when it was reissued in 2011, it caused a riot in some stores in North America.

Incidentally, the “Space Jam,” which Jordan wore in the 1996 film “Space Jam,” is another popular colorway. The heel of these shoes features the embroidered number “45,” which was Jordan’s number when he made his comeback to the NBA.
