Piaget introduces the world's thinnest watch, the " Altiplano Ultimate Automatic

Introducing the features of the ” Altiplano ” Ultimate Automatic, one of the world’s thinnest watches!

The meticulously designed heart of an ultra-thin automatic watch

The Ultiplano Ultimate Automatic, an ultra-thin self-winding watch, uses the newly developed ” 910P ” movement. Some of the extremely thinly finished components are only slightly thicker than the thickness of a hair, such as the gears, which are only 0.12 mm thick. Due to this extremely advanced complication, the structure of the movement is inverted, with the bridges located on the dial side. This allows the movement to be viewed from the front of the watch, creating a unique aesthetic that cannot be found anywhere else.

With the aim of maximizing the available space, a black PVD-coated 22K gold peripheral peripheral peripheral rotor is placed around the movement to integrate with its thickness, contributing to its overall thinness. Despite its delicate appearance, the watch boasts a power reserve of approximately 50 hours.

Thinner but with the same performance! Thorough finishing without compromise

Piaget has an absolute philosophy that no sacrifice in terms of reliability should be made by the extreme thinness of an ultra-thin watch. The alternating circular-pattern and sunray-pattern satin-finished gears and the slow-quickening device with Piaget’s ” P ” on it are part of this commitment. The circular-pattern Côtes de Genève, chamfered bridges, perlage-finished baseplate, and black screws add the finishing touches to this exceptional timepiece.
