At the event, each artist offered their congratulations to MR. BROTHERS CUT CLUB on its 10th anniversary. Mr. RUEED of Reggae Dee Jay, who was kind enough to set aside time for an interview with us in the midst of an overcrowded schedule that was going on by the minute, made the following comment: “I’m very happy to be here…

RUEED
I don’t think you can ever set up a good restaurant in a prime location in Tokyo or Osaka and keep it going for 10 years with a half-hearted attitude. I also really respect the fact that they are not just barbershop style like this event, but are also transmitting HIP HOP and reggae culture. I hope that you will keep plugging away at this.

We also asked him about his hair and fashion style. He is influenced by reggae artists from the early dancehall period of the 80s, such as Super Cat*1, and often incorporates dress items such as suits, hats, and slacks into his own style. He often incorporates dress items such as suits, hats, and slacks into his own style. He performed in an all-black slacks style at this event as well.

*1 SUPER CAT: A Jamaican reggae dancehall artist active from the late 80s to mid 90s. His trademark is the white suit style. He has performed in Japan three times.

DJ CHARI has been shaving his head since he was 15 years old, and when he is in Tokyo, he goes to MR.BROTHERS CUT CLUB’s Harajuku 2nd store or KADSURAYA TOKYO for a haircut once a week. He also left a comment about the appeal of MR.

DJ CHARI
Sometimes I cut my hair at a hair salon because I just can’t fit it into my schedule, but even with the same shaved head, MR. BROTHERS CUT CLUB has a totally different skin-fade finish and cool lines. MR. BROTHERS CUT CLUB gives me hip-hop style barber hair that looks great even without a detailed order, and I hope to continue working with them.
