A timepiece that draws on more than 40 years of expertise
TAG Heuer first introduced its revolutionary 1000-meter depth water-resistant diver’s watch in the 1980s. Inheriting the legacy of such classic models as the ” 1000-meter Diver ” and the ” Super Professional ” of the time, the new model is water-resistant and thin.
The 45 mm-diameter timepiece is designed to withstand deep underwater depths, and while it is durable and able to withstand severe water pressure, its slim profile of only 15.75 mm in thickness gives it an elegant look. The design is also characterized by the pursuit of legibility. The orange color of the minute and seconds hands is the color of maritime safety and contrasts with the blue of the ocean to enhance divers’ visibility.
The dial features a stripe design similar to that of the Aquaracer Professional 300 collection. To enhance underwater visibility, the stripes are spaced further apart on this model.
The ceramic bezel is orange only in the first quarter, which is used most frequently for timing decompression stops. The material used is a hybrid of black ceramic and orange ceramic, developed exclusively for TAG Heuer.
The watch is also equipped with Super-LumiNova®, the highest grade of luminescent paint, to ensure legibility at extreme depths and in the dark. For durability and safety, a sturdy crown protector has been added. This protects the movement from the risk of water ingress.
The black DLC-coated crown contrasts sharply with the case. The bezel is deeply indented to allow for optimal feel, including ease of turning. Grade 5 titanium, which enables a finish comparable to the steel used in this work, provides excellent ergonomics due to its light weight. The exceptional steel caseback is decorated with the iconic diving helmet motif. This is one of the timeless symbols that has been engraved on all watches in the Aquaracer collection for almost 20 years.

Designed for professional divers on missions at extreme depths
Designed to withstand extreme water pressure for professional divers working in the deep sea, the Aquaracer is the first watch in the Aquaracer collection to incorporate a helium valve. By incorporating a helium valve in the watch, the watch allows the release of gases that can cause damage during the diver’s deep-sea process. This helium valve is finished with a black DLC coating that harmonizes with the black-finished crown. In addition to the certification of the previous model, the watch is also notable for its ISO 6425 certification, a challenging international standard for saturated submersible watches.
Caliber TH30-00 created in partnership with Kenissi
Certified by the Swiss Chronometer Testing Institute (COSC) and produced by Kenissi according to TAG Heuer’s strict specifications, the new manufacture movement caliber TH30-00 is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of high-performance mechanical movements. The company is known for its standards of durability and quality that exceed expectations and are among the best in the Swiss watch industry. The movement has a power reserve of approximately 70 hours and functions without loss of accuracy on Monday, even if not used on the weekend. The reliability and durability of this work are greatly enhanced by the TH30-00 caliber.
The protective case also has the same durability as the watch and is equipped with a rescue diving light. The use of orange to harmonize with the timepiece completes the highly technical waterproof and shockproof case. The result is a groundbreaking model that combines sophisticated design, high-performance movement, and technological innovation.
