Hamilton presents a limited edition watch from the movie ‘Dune: Planet of the Sand, Part 2! Ventura with a dash of blue

HAMILTON, the American watch brand with over 130 years of history, has created a special wrist device as a prop in the movie ‘ Dune: Planet of the Sand, Part 2. Two limited edition watches inspired by the film are now on sale.

Since 1932, Hamilton has had a major presence in Hollywood, as its watches have been used in over 500 major motion pictures, including the films ‘”Men in Black” and “The Twilight Zone. Hamilton has now also created a device for “Dune: Planet of the Sands Part 2,” the sequel to Denis Villeneuve’s film “Dune: Planet of the Sands. The director himself offered the prop to Hamilton, who took it up and designed it with Doug Harlocker, the film’s props officer.

In previous films, Hamilton has chosen watches from models actually sold, revived historical models, or created completely new designs. However, for ‘ Dune: Planet of the Sands Part 2,’ Hamilton took a different approach, creating a device that would only be used in the world of the play. Hamilton created a sturdy and distinctive “desert device” worn by the Fremen, a desert people who live on the sand planet of Arrakis. With no knowledge of what role this device would play in the film’s setting, Hamilton’s designers relied solely on the original story and Villeneuve’s vision for the film to create a prop that won the director’s admiration.

And now, two limited edition watches inspired by this wrist device have been released by Hamilton to commemorate the film’s release.

This time The two limited edition models released are the ” Ventura XXL Bright DUNE Special Edition ” and the ” Ventura Edge DUNE Limited Edition “. Both watches feature a glowing blue dial design that recalls the unique “blue eyes” of the Fremen, a people of the desert. They will be released with commemorative packaging inspired by the movie ‘ Dune: Planet of the Sands Part 2,’ making them a must-have for fans of the movie and book, as well as collectors.

The all-new “Ventura Edge DUNE Limited Edition” model is inspired by the wrist device that appears in the play Inspired by the wrist device in the movie, it features a matte black PVD-coated triangular case. The digital display, which emerges in blue light, represents Fremen’s blue eyes, as in the “XXL Bright,” and the dial reproduces the three-dimensional appearance of the desert device in the play. The watch is limited to 2000 pieces worldwide, and the serial number is engraved on the back of the watch, making it a very special wristwatch.
