Breitling, a long-established watchmaker celebrating its 140th anniversary in 2024, has launched the ” Aerospace B70 Orbiter ” model to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the first non-stop round-the-world balloon flight.

The “Aerospace B70 Orbiter,” created in honor of the world’s first non-stop round-the-world flight by the Breitling Orbiter 3 hot-air balloon, will be launched, followed by various events and exhibitions to celebrate the 140th anniversary of the company Breitling is planning a variety of events, exhibitions, and special presentations to commemorate its 140th anniversary. The brand has a history of sponsoring the 1999 round-the-world flight in a hot air balloon, in which the iconic orange balloon called ” Orbiter 3 ” was used. Breitling’s sponsorship of this revolutionary air journey led to the launch of the ” Aerospace B70 Orbiter ” to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the round-the-world flight.

The Aerospace B70 Orbiter features a bright orange dial design, the same color as the Orbiter 3 capsule. The see-through caseback features a cutout of the actual spherical skin of the Orbiter 3, which is stored inside. The Breitling Orbiter 3 mission logo and the words ” Firstnon-stop flight around the world 25th anniversary ” are engraved in the center of the caseback.

The case and bracelet are both made of titanium, a robust material with the highest strength-to-weight ratio of any metal.
