The brand has a history of sponsoring the 1999 round-the-world flight in a hot air balloon, in which the iconic orange balloon called ” Orbiter 3 ” was used. The Aerospace B70 Orbiter features a bright orange dial design, the same color as the Orbiter 3 capsule. The see-through caseback features a cutout of the actual spherical skin of the Orbiter 3, which is stored inside. The Breitling Orbiter 3 mission logo and the words ” Firstnon-stop flight around the world 25th anniversary ” are engraved in the center of the caseback.

The case and bracelet are both made of titanium, a robust material with the highest strength-to-weight ratio of any metal.
