BABUAR and Levi’s® unveil their first collaborative collection. The content celebrates the shared traditions, craftsmanship, and adventurous spirit that have been spun between the two leading British and American brands for over 170 years.

This collaborative collection combines functionality, durability, and timeless style, paying homage to the workwear and craftsmanship roots of both brands. Both Babur and Levi’s® began their history in the 19th century. In the early days, Levi’s® provided workwear for miners and pioneers in the American West, while BABUA provided workwear for fishermen and dockworkers in the harsh environment of northeastern England. Both companies have carried on their spirit to the present day and continue to produce timeless products.

Commenting on the collection, Ian Bergin, Director of BABUA Menswear, said, “Both BABUA and Levi’s® have a history of over 100 years, and this collection strongly reflects that heritage. The traditional and simple designs blend into everyday life while still making a statement. Each piece is carefully crafted and will truly last a long time.”

The concept is inspired by the “Law of 10,000 Hours” and visually expresses the aesthetics of tradition, labor, and repetition. The models are skilled craftsmen of today. Each is opening up a new future for craft with his or her unique skills and sensibility. The lineup of models featured includes Shivas Howard Brown, founder of custom speaker company Friendly Pressure; ceramicist Lev Rosenbush; furniture craftsman Andu Masebo; and jewelry designer Ellie Mercer.

Barbour x Levi's® Collection LineupA number of items reflect the iconic designs of both brands, centered around three types of jackets!

This collection is centered around three types of jackets that fuse the iconic designs of both brands, using Levi’s® denim and Babur’s iconic waxed cotton, jeans, Corduroy pants, hoodies, T-shirts, and caps are also featured. Archival pieces from both brands have been reinterpreted to create a perfect fusion of Levi’s® tough design and Babur’s unique outerwear know-how. In addition, all waxed items are made of Babur’s waxed cotton. The texture deepens with time, reflecting the wearer’s individuality in the same way that denim ages.

Barbour x Levi's® Collection Featured Outerwear 1SPEY Jacket (WAX)

This is a standard short length outerwear based on the “SPEY”, which was created in 1980 as Babur’s first fishing jacket. The base model is the classic short-length outerwear ” SPEY “, which was created in 1980 as Babur’s first fishing jacket. This classic style is reworked with tobacco-colored waxed cotton, brown corduroy collar, Levi’s® arquette-inspired pockets, trucker jacket-style cuffs, and western details.

Barbour x Levi's® Collection Featured Outerwear 2OS BEDALE Jacket (DENIM/ WAX)

Based on the “BEDALE” developed as a riding jacket in 1980. This model is based on the “BEDALE,” which was developed in 1980 as a jacket for horseback riding. Two designs will be available: a workwear-style design in denim with triple-needle stitching and antique brass details, and a dark navy waxed-cotton design with Levi’s® pleats and tartan lining.

Barbour x Levi's® Collection Featured Outerwear 3TYPE 2 Jacket (DENIM / WAX)

This is a model based on the iconic “Type 2 Tracker Jacket” of Levi’s®. This model is based on the iconic Levi’s® Type 2 Tracker Jacket. It incorporates iconic Babur details such as tartan check lining, corduroy collar, throat tabs, and zippers with ring pulls. It is available in two colors: olive with waxed cotton and indigo blue with denim.

The collaboration between BABUR and Levi’s® does not end here, as the project ” Levi’s® x Barbour Re-Loved ” will be launched on November 20, 2025, to embody both brands’ philosophy of “repair and wear for a long time. will be launched on November 20, 2025 (Thursday). Using BABBOUR’s waxed cotton, used Levi’s® vintage denim is remade. They will be reborn as patchwork jackets and 501® jeans in a new form. Each piece has its own story of wear, repair, and rebirth, and the project focuses on the charm of clothing that grows with time. The jeans will be sold exclusively at Babur Harajuku Cat Street Store, Levi’s® Harajuku Flagship Store, Levi’s® Store Nagoya Zero Gate, and Levi’s® official online store.
