OMEGA has unveiled a new James Bond timepiece in anticipation of the long-awaited 25th film in the “007” series, “No Time To Die,” which will be released in April 2020. In addition to its on-screen appearance, the timepiece will be a regular addition to OMEGA’s iconic collection starting in February.

OMEGA worked closely with Daniel Craig during the design phase of the timepiece to learn more about James Bond and to explore the theme of “What would be the right design for this watch? The process of creating this timepiece, Daniel said, “I was very excited about the design of this timepiece. Classic and military details

The diving scale, black hands, and vintage Super-LumiNova applied to the indexes give the watch a classic look. The case back is marked with a number of numerals that mimic real military watches: “0552” is the code number of the navy affiliation, and “923 7697” means a diver’s watch. The “A” in the alphabet is a code indicating that the watch has a screw-down crown. The “62” represents the year in which the first James Bond movie was released.

The watch also comes with a pouch and a choice of two different belts.

The watch will be available as a regular part of the collection starting next February. It will be available with either a titanium mesh bracelet or a dark brown, gray, or beige striped NATO strap with “007” engraved on the loop, and will come with a special brown fabric pouch.
