Type 1 Jackets Available in 6 Different Materials! Stone Island Unveils “NO SEASONS”

On Monday, October 19, STONE ISLAND launched the “NO SEASONS” Fall/Winter 2026–27 collection at STONE ISLAND flagship stores nationwide and on its official online store.

What Is ‘NO SEASONS’?A project that carries on the brand founder’s vision from 1989–94!“Proposing Designs That Balance ‘Continuity’ and ‘Evolution’”

“NO SEASONS” is a project that carries forward the original concept envisioned by Stone Island founder Massimo Osti from 1989 to 1994.Building on the timeless values the brand has cultivated, it presents a new archetype of outerwear through designs that are rooted in history yet forward-looking.It embodies Osti’s philosophy, which emphasizes “continuity” and “evolution” rather than fleeting seasonal trends, and gives shape to Stone Island’s essential approach—one that is not dependent on trends but is established through a gradual and meticulous development process.

”NO SEASONS” Fall/Winter 2026–27To embody an uncompromising dedication to materials, the same garment model is offered in six different fabrics

For this “NO SEASONS” collection, to highlight its timeless essence, the brand presents six iconic fabrics—including “TELA RESINATA,”“NYLON PRISMATICO-TC,” “RASO GOMMATO,” “DAVID-TC,” “CRINKLE REPS NY,” and “PANNO.” By imbuing the same model with distinct personalities, the collection embodies the brand’s ongoing commitment to material research.

These six items are dyed in “Piombo” (Italian for “lead”). The fabric itself dictates the color tone and character, and the subtle variations that emerge within the uniformity of the same jacket style highlight the unique characteristics of each fabric.Furthermore, each jacket—which features modern updates—shares common details such as a three-dimensional hood with a drawcord, a three-dimensional central panel, two chest pockets with concealed zippers, two side pockets, and cuffs adjustable with snap buttons.

Designed with continuous wear in mind, this collection is defined by material innovation, structural precision, and functional clarity. By connecting accumulated knowledge with contemporary objectives, it is presented as a timeless reference that further advances Stone Island’s core philosophy of “the dialogue between tradition and experimentation.”

Below, we introduce the characteristics of each of the six fabrics.

‘NO SEASONS’ Fabric 1“TELA RESINATA”

This collection uses a fabric that is an evolution of “Tela Stella,” which symbolizes Stone Island’s origins.A pigment-resin finish in contrasting shades is applied to both sides of a canvas made from 50% recycled cotton. A wash treatment is applied as a finishing touch to create a richly textured appearance.

‘NO SEASONS’ Fabric 2”‘NYLON PRISMATICO-TC’”

This garment features lightweight nylon taffeta bonded to a glossy, transparent polyurethane film.Garment dyeing (post-production dyeing) imparts distinct shades and depth to the fabric and each textile component. Additionally, the fine grooved structure on the film refracts light, emphasizing the color effects and lending the surface a three-dimensional, “liquid-like” appearance.

A fabric that offers a contemporary interpretation of Stone Island’s historic “Raso Gommato” material.A transparent polyurethane coating is applied to the reverse side of military-inspired satin-woven cotton. Using a double-dyeing technique on both the cotton and nylon, the fabric and the polyurethane film are dyed in different shades, and the fabric also features a water-repellent finish.

‘NO SEASONS’ Fabric 4”‘DAVID-TC’”

This fabric is based on a Japanese-made polyester/polyamide material with a star-shaped cross-section.After sewing with this material, the garments undergo garment dyeing and water-repellent treatment simultaneously. During the dyeing process, the fabric is heat-compressed under pressure at 130°C. By significantly altering the texture and structure, the garments are finished with a unique texture that combines an industrial aesthetic with a sense of luxury.

“NO SEASONS” Fabric 5”CRINKLE REPS NY”

A garment woven from lightweight nylon rep at an ultra-high density. A resin coating applied to the inner side ensures wind resistance and moderate water repellency.Due to the resin treatment, the dye does not penetrate uniformly, creating a distinctive crinkled texture on the surface. Water-repellency is enhanced by adding a special solvent during the dyeing process.
