Reebok's ZIG doping shoe has been elevated to a modern face in collaboration with Ian Paley!

Reebok has announced a collaboration with designer Ian Paley to create the “ZIG KINETICA CONCEPT TYPE 1,” a new running shoe that will be released in 2009. The “ZIG KINETICA CONCEPT TYPE 1” is a fashion-oriented update of the “ZIG”, which first appeared as a running shoe in 2009. KINETICA CONCEPT TYPE 1″ will be available in two colors each on November 8 (Friday) and December 4 (Wednesday), 2019.

High performance and a sophisticated color palette combine in the free-wearing ” ZIG KINETICA CONCEPT TYPE 1

Reebok has been releasing shoes equipped with unique and innovative technologies. In particular, the first generation “ZIG, which was introduced as a running shoe, boasted such high performance that it was called a doping shoe because of the zigzag shape of its outsole, which generated high propulsive force. The collaborative model “ZIG KINETICA CONCEPT TYPE 1″ was designed by Ian Paley and features a guidance band for adjustable fit and micro-vented mesh for enhanced breathability in the upper portion. The shoe, which has always employed advanced technology, is a perfect combination of Ian Paley’s preferred “parts-as-you-go” design and a sophisticated color palette.

The “ZIG KINETICA CONCEPT TYPE 1,” which boasts systems and details that generate amazing propulsive force, is a design that allows the wearer to express his or her individuality.

The newly developed “ZIG KINETICA” is equipped with the “ZIG Energy System,” a three-layer construction that combines Float Ride Fuel (high resilience foam), Energy Shell, and Energy Band outsole. This minimizes energy loss in forward propulsion. The zigzag outsole not only provides high cushioning, but also opens up to 13 degrees to further amplify forward propulsion. The result is a product that is not only well designed but also extremely comfortable to wear. The gradient color of the sole is inspired by a “heat map. This was inspired by the “energy return” concept of the sole.
