adidas Originals launches new “ZX TORSION” model with nostalgic design

adidas Originals introduces a new nostalgic design model, the “ZX TORSION,” a pair of ZX series shoes featuring innovative designs from the 1980s and equipped with up-and-coming materials, available starting July 11, 2019 (Thursday)!

Nostalgic design with the latest technology ” ZX TORSION

Created in 1984, the ZX series was a major topic in the running shoe world in the 1980s. The series was developed for long-distance trail runners and produced many models, starting with the ZX500. It was also a major achievement in terms of staying on the cutting edge of sports footwear design, pioneering the latest innovations such as Soft Cell cushioning and the iconic Torsion system.

The newly released ZX TORSION features an X-shaped Torsion bar outsole for stability and a resilient full The ZX TORSION combines an X-shaped torchon bar outsole for stability with full-length BOOST foam for a comfortable walk or run. The mesh upper is finished with suede and reflective details for a rich textured look.

The quilted mesh used on the upper, including the shoe tongue, was inspired by the ZX 8000 silhouette. The bright blue soft suede, neon yellow laces, and TPU parts give the shoe a nostalgic look, while innovative technology creates a vintage style that is appropriate for today.
