The charm of Church’s Chetwynd ” (2) “Decorative beauty of medallions and perforations
The beauty of the Chetwynd’s decoration, which can only be achieved with full brogues with inner wings, is also its charm. The toe is decorated with Church’s traditional medallion. Medallions on brogue shoes vary from butterfly to flower, but Church has adopted the motif of (sheep’s horns) as its distinctive feature. The same sheep horn medallion is used not only on the Chetwynd, but also on the “Diplomat,” a semi-brogue with an inner sole, the “Grafton,” a wingtip with an outer sole, and the “Ketsby,” a full brogue side gore boot.
