Fred Perry polo shirt 1

M3 is a polo shirt that was born in 1952 and can be said to be the roots of Fred Perry shirts. It was designed by founder Frederick John Perry and was also known as a favorite of his own. The design is the simplest of all Fred Perry shirts, featuring only an embroidered laurel on the left chest. The shirt has been loved for more than 60 years for its perfect combination of functionality, comfort, and fashion. It is easy to match with any coordinates, and can be said to be a piece of clothing that one can continue to own without getting tired of it. The material is 100% cotton and the design is sleek. It also has a slightly longer length. There is also an “M3N” model with an “N” at the end, but this model is manufactured for the Japanese market, and there are no major differences in design or materials.

The aforementioned M12, born in 1957, is one of Fred Perry’s most essential polo shirts, with a laurel embroidered on the left chest. The name “M12″ is a style number meaning that this is the 12th shirt developed by Fred Perry. This shirt, also known as the ” Fred Perry shirt,” is still being produced in England today. The M12 also has deep ties to soccer. The two distinctive lines on the collar and cuffs are said to have been created by a fan of West Ham United FC, a London soccer club team, who visited Lillywhite, a sports store, to ask if the club colors could be added to Fred Perry shirts, and the buyer of Lillywhite asked Fred Perry to do so. The buyer of Lillywhite asked Fred Perry for the design, and it is said that it was born. The first color scheme for the M12 was therefore white/ice/maroon, the uniform colors of West Ham United FC.
