STONE ISLAND and New Balance have joined forces for the latest chapter in their long-standing partnership to launch a comprehensive collection for both on- and off-pitch wear, “STONE ISLAND | NEW BALANCE SUMMER_’026 CAPSULE”. The collection will go on sale in Japan on June 17, 2026 (Wed.) at all channels including Stone Island directly-managed stores, official online stores, and wholesale customers. A two-week pop-up store will also be held at Isetan Shinjuku Men’s Building, 1st floor “The Stage” from the same day.

This collection will focus on both material research and performance. Inspired by the football culture of the 1990s, the collection is sublimated into a contemporary perspective through material processing and graphic expression. On-Pitch Line, Football kits featuring engineered jacquard fabric will be available. It features special graphics combining the Stone Island compass logo, the NB logo, and a two-stripe motif. The jersey and shorts feature flocked logo placement, while the socks feature open mesh knit construction and embroidered logos. The lineup also includes the ” Pro Football ” ball, which features 32 thermo-compression panel construction for high flight stability and low water absorption. The surface is micro-textured for superior flight performance and glide. Information on additional on-pitch items will be released on Wednesday, June 3.

The heart of the off-pitch line is the ” STONE ISLAND | NEW BALANCE ABZORB 1890 Trainer. Combining heritage elements with innovative design, this new sneaker is based on the original 2002 sole unit and features full-length SBS ABZORB cushioning. It offers a beautiful silhouette while maintaining comfort. The upper combines micro ripstop mesh and seamless synthetic overlays to form a wavy cutout structure. In addition, the toe features a reflective “teardrop” detail with high-frequency crimping.
Apparel & AccessoriesFunctionality and skillful use of materials and color expression for items with depth
Apparel and accessories include items characterized by expressive materials and functional construction. The core item, the “Nylon Prismatico-TC Hooded Jacket,” is inspired by Stone Island’s iconic “Mussola Prismatica” processing technique, in which lightweight nylon terry cloth is bonded to a transparent polyurethane film with a fine groove structure.
