“STONE ISLAND | NEW BALANCE 574 GHOST” is a new version of the classic New Balance ” The “STONE ISLAND | NEW BALANCE 574 GHOST” is a collaborative model that reinterprets New Balance’s timeless classic “574” in the Stone Island style. The second edition, planned as part of a long-term partnership based on materials research and advanced design, incorporates colors inspired by Stone Island’s capsule collection “GHOST” from the Spring/Summer ’26 collection. The most distinctive feature is that everything from the upper to the midsole is finished in a single color, suede. The one-tone composition highlights the shading of the raised texture and details of the material, while pursuing the minimalist look characteristic of the GHOST collection. Furthermore, the original form of the 574 has been updated to a softer, rounded balloon silhouette by applying additional padding to the shoe’s tongue, footwear opening, and entire upper. Comfort in everyday use has been enhanced.
The upper features a stitch-and-turn construction that eliminates overlapping seams and padded suede. This construction creates three-dimensional lines reminiscent of the padded garment of the GHOST series, emphasizing softness and comfort. The raised “N” logo and heel tab form a subtle contrast to the main body. The outer panel is stamped with “STONE ISLAND PRODUCT RESEARCH,” visually expressing the experimental spirit of the collaboration between the two brands.
A felt Compass logo patch in the same color is printed on the shoe tongue, and a Compass logo in the same color is printed on the insole. The signature of Stone Island is subtly asserted without compromising the monochrome worldview. In addition, this work is characterized by the fact that not only the upper but also the midsole is covered in suede. By unifying the visible parts not only in terms of color but also in terms of materials, the minimalist design is completed.

An exclusive monochrome package linked to each color is also included.
