Asakusa Roku-ku SAKURA STREET is an event that transforms Asakusa Roku-ku itself into a springtime stage by enveloping the area in glamorous cherry blossoms. The venue, Asakusa Roku-ku Broadway, will be lined with cherry blossom trees and will be the site of a spectacular Asakusa-style Japanese performance, including a procession of oiran (courtesans) and Japanese instrumental performances.

The concept of the “Ploom LOUNGE” to be set up in Asakusa this time is “sakura gloss,” which is also the event’s theme . The concept of the “Ploom LOUNGE,” which will be set up in Asakusa, is “cherry blossom glamour,” which is also the theme of the event. In Asakusa, where the culture and atmosphere of the Edo period remain strong, hanami culture has been reinterpreted in the modern age, andtwo special 20-meter-long smoking booths wrapped in cherry blossom decorations have been prepared. The booths will be decorated with cherry blossoms and have two smoking booths with 20 meters long. During the festival, Asakusa Roku-gu Broadwaywill be filled with Edo-style performances, such as an oiran (courtesan) procession and smoke trays.
“Ploom LOUNGE” offers a smoking space for smokers 20 years old and older to enjoy smoking heated and paper cigarettes. The first thing you see when you enter the lounge is an original illustration drawn by Asakusa-based graphic designer ESOW for this space. The lounge is a place where you can enjoy a moment of relaxation while feeling the lustrous spring air and the scenery decorated with cherry blossoms. In the lounge, visitors will be able to taste the entire EVO series, including EVO Sakura Regular, as well as purchase Plum AURA devices, including the limited edition Fuchsia Flare color.
