New Balance has reissued the “BB550,” a reissue of the “PRIDE550,” which was popularly worn by professional basketball players in 1989. The two pairs, in white and black and gray, will be available at New Balance stores, the official New Balance online store, and other select retailers from February 6, 2021 (Sat).

The newest addition to the New Balance ” 550″ series, which has been released one after another since last year, led by the collaboration model with Emme Léon Doré, is now available. This time, the “BB550,” a reissue of the “PRIDE 550,” which was worn by professional basketball players in 1989 and gained popularity, has been announced.
The BB550 to be released this time is a pair of low-cut models that faithfully reproduce the archived PRIDE550. Like the original, it features a comfortable leather upper and a sole that provides excellent cushioning and stability, and is rich in functionality that is typical of basketball shoes.

This work is also available in two color schemes: an all-white model and a gray and black model. While the “550” series, which was released in succession last year, was characterized by vivid colors, this new model, clad in simple monotone colors, has a sharp finish that will surely look great with urban outfits.
