Diesel has reimagined the denim manufacturing process and incorporated an irreverent attitude and sense of humor into its designs with the capsule collection “DIESEL REHAB DENIM” for the 2023 pre-spring collection.

For Diesel, founded in 1978 by Renzo Rosso, denim is the brand’s DNA. It is the brand’s tradition and identity, and is a category that requires constant innovation, reevaluation, and evolution. The newly introduced ” Diesel Rehab Denim ” is a sustainable collection that has partnered with Tejidos Royo, a sustainability specialist, to incorporate Diesel’s cutting scraps into the manufacturing process, including recycled materials. 2022 The collection was first introduced on the fall/winter runway, and was launched in earnest from the 2023 pre-spring collection.

The amount of chemicals and energy used in the dyeing process of denim is drastically reduced through Dry Indigo® technology, an innovative technology that can enable zero water consumption. The collection consists of denim items in three different washes: acid wash, bleach, and shadow, a combination of vintage indigo and gray.

All of the items in the lineup, including toggle-waist monster cargo pants, oversized bomber jackets, and zip-up trucker jackets, are all in all-gender silhouettes. Denim pants stand out for their low-rise, straight-leg silhouettes and cut-out edges.
