Revolutionizing Men's Style: NPO CLOUDY and MR. BROTHERS CUT CLUB Launch BARBER ACADEMY PROJECT in Ghana

NPO CLOUDY and MR. BROTHERS CUT CLUB have announced the “BARBER ACADEMY PROJECT in GHANA” for the fall of 2022. The second promotional event of the project will be held at the main space on the 1st floor of Hankyu Men’s Tokyo from March 1st (Wed) to March 7th (Mon) and at the promotion on the B1 floor from March 8th (Wed) to March 14th (Tue).

The limited-edition Claudie apparel items with a barber theme and the collaboration pomade created especially for this project will also be on sale.

Young Ghanaians have a strong sense of beauty and spend half of their salaries on their hair and fashion, enjoying their own style of fashion. Despite the fact that barbers are an indispensable part of their lives, it is difficult for them to be recognized as a profession.

In Ghana, 80% of the population of 30 million are so-called day laborers, and the high rate of unemployment among young people has been a problem in recent years. The “BARBER ACADEMY PROJECT in GHANA” was launched to provide employment support to young people in Ghana through barber training, and a partnership between NPO Crowdy and Mr. Brothers Cut Club will open a barber academy in Accra, Ghana’s capital, in 2023. The school will open in Accra, Ghana’s capital city, in 2023.

A special item from BROSH, a brand of pomade made in Japan, will also be available. The pomade is a collaboration between BROSH and Claudie, a Japanese apparel company, and has the same strong hold on the Japanese hair as the original pomade. The fragrance is a refreshing fresh citrus, a combination of elegant citrus and floral, said to have been dedicated to the Queen. The design of the pomade is a pattern drawn by a Ghanaian textile designer with the image of a barber. The traditional native design depicts items such as scissors, a hair dryer, and a brush. The message on the bottom of the box reads “10% of the proceeds will be used to support employment in Ghana. In addition, Claudio’s original apparel items for both men and women will also be sold.
