DIESELxDIESEL was born from Renzo Rosso’s desire to revive Diesel’s former icons in the modern era. The collection is a reflection of the memorable research trips that Renzo and his multinational design team took in the late 80’s. Here are just a few of the items from the collection!
From outerwear, many items inspired by Diesel’s indispensable workwear are now available!
This collection features a number of outerwear pieces inspired by college wear, Route 66, and Diesel’s essential workwear. Underlying each item is the idea of connecting beings separated by borders and time. The varsity jacket has been reworked in heavily damaged leather with new typeface Diesel logo patches around the shoulders. The coat, in a mix of shearling, cotton, leather, and jacquard wool, is inspired by a research trip to the American South in the 1980s. And the vest, made of processed leather from the late 80s, has a nostalgic finish with patches reminiscent of American road trips.
