DIESEL’s new ” RESPECTFUL DENIM ” sustainable jeans created with up to 40% less water usage
Italian denim brand DIESEL, which boasts high popularity around the world, will release ” RESPECTFUL DENIM ” with a focus on sustainability from the 20SS season. The new MADE IN ITALY jeans employ an innovative technology that significantly reduces water consumption and chemical substances in the manufacturing process. This technology has succeeded in reducing water consumption by up to 40% compared to conventional jeans. The use of chemicals has also been reduced to a minimum with the use of substances that are “Green Screen Certified” (chemical safety certification).

While reducing water usage by 180 liters, the finished product is just as good as premium vintage denim!
This year’s RESPECTFUL DENIM will be available in two models from the men’s line, both with an atmosphere that rivals DIESEL’s signature premium vintage denim look. The carrot fit “D-VIDER,” the model with the lowest environmental impact value in this collection, uses wash 0092X. Compared to the previous model, the “D-VIDER” uses 180 liters less water.

D-STRUKT,” a slim-fit denim with a classic vintage look and feel from its light blue-washed fabric, uses wash 009AR, which, like D-VIDER, successfully reduces water consumption by 180 liters. And now for the RESPECTFUL DENIM, to distinguish it from other products, “This product was produced in Italy under a responsible manufacturing process. It is a human and eco-friendly denim that lives up to DIESEL’s DNA.” The label is specially designed in white and green tones and reads: “D-STRUKT”.
