Reebok CLASSIC has announced its first collaboration with mastermind JAPAN, which is currently on hiatus from the brand, to release four sneaker models!
The LX8500 (released in 1985) and the Ventilator (released in 1990), two of Reebok’s most iconic models, were chosen as the base models for this first release. While the price is a bit higher than the originals at 19,000 yen/17,000 yen (excl. tax) respectively, it is more than attractive enough considering the rarity and high design quality. The release date is 9/5/2015.
*Mastermind is a popular brand launched by Masaaki Honma in 1997 that incorporates traditional Japanese technology and high-tech into luxurious and sophisticated design items. The skull motif is so famous.
Incidentally, it has been announced that the second two models will be released around early October, and leaked images are already circulating on the Internet, although their authenticity is unknown! As a sneaker lover, I’m looking forward to this one too!
