Church is famous as James Bond’s favorite leather shoe brand in the 007 movie series. Along with John Robb and Crockett & Jones, it has supported Bond’s footwear. Bond is known to wear dress shoes such as hall-cut or outer-blade cap-toe with dress styles such as tuxedos and suits, but in “Quantum of Solace,” he wears brown-colored Rider 3s throughout the entire film in non-dress scenes. In “Quantum of Solace,” however, he wears brown-colored Rider 3 shoes in all scenes except for the dress scenes. The fact that he chooses to wear the “Rider 3” shoes with a dynamite sole, which is non-slip and can be worn hard, instead of “Rider” shoes with a crepe sole shows Bond’s attention to practicality for actual use in battle.
