What are the “tricks” common to both the “normal push-up” and the “kneeling push-up” to ensure that they work the pectoralis major muscles?

A common problem with push-ups is that the arms and shoulders get tired first. Of course, this is not wrong, as the arms and shoulders can also be trained, but if the pectoral muscles, which are the main muscles, are not worked properly, there is no point in doing them. What I want you to review is your ” posture. The key is to “keep your chest up. The theory is to do push-ups with the shoulders down and the shoulder blades tightened. However, one must be careful not to become overly conscious of pulling the shoulder blades together, or to let the shoulders slump or the back arch during the movement.

The angle of the elbows is also an important point in exercising the pectoralis major muscles. Basically, the elbow should be positioned with one fist open, but since the length of each person’s arm varies slightly, it is good to have the elbow at a 90-degree angle when viewed from the front in the finishing position, if we are being strict. The pectoral muscles should be stretched firmly. At this point, if the chin is slightly lifted and the neck is lengthened, the pectoralis major muscle is further stretched and the effect is enhanced.
