Swatch presents a free exhibition to view & experience "Cellular Art"!

Cellular artist Ouma’s exhibition is currently being held on the 14th floor of the Swatch Nicolas G. Hayek Center. At the venue, there will be a free event where visitors can view and experience “cellular art” as expressed by cellular artist Ouma.

Experience artwork featuring the smallest unit of life, the ” cell “!

The exhibition, titled “Life Continuous,” uses the “cell,” the smallest unit of life, as a motif to express “a world in which individual life forms come together, sometimes cooperating, sometimes opposing each other, and at other times united as a collective organism.

The colorful works are a mash-up of two elements on different scales, “cells” and “society,” from a unique perspective that visitors are invited to touch, tear, and tie together. Visitors can actually touch, tear, tie, and move them. The design is said to even express the process of changing shape through actual touch by various people. One of the ways to enjoy the event is to appreciate the way the shape changes compared to before the event started. The above image shows a work that has not yet been touched by anyone other than Ouma.

In addition, on Thursday, November 8, from 16:00 to 18:00, visitors can enjoy “cell art” with Ouma. The event will be held from 16:00 to 18:00 on Thursday, November 8. Bring your swatch and Mr. Ouma will draw “cellular art” for you.
