From Veterinarian to Artist. Mr. “Ouma” creates artworks based on the theme of “cells.

Mr. Ouma has a unique background as a former veterinarian from Tokyo. While a veterinarian, he began drawing pictures of his deceased patients and sending them to their families. He started his art activities in order to fulfill the essence of a veterinarian’s job, ” healing the human heart. Currently, he is creating works as a “cell artist” on the theme of “cells,” the smallest unit of life.

Incidentally, Mr. Ouma, the organizer of this exhibition, is one of the artists who actually stayed at this facility for 6 months.
