From Veterinarian to Artist. Mr. “Ouma” creates artworks based on the theme of “cells.
Mr. Ouma has a unique background as a former veterinarian from Tokyo. While a veterinarian, he began drawing pictures of his deceased patients and sending them to their families. He started his art activities in order to fulfill the essence of a veterinarian’s job, ” healing the human heart. Currently, he is creating works as a “cell artist” on the theme of “cells,” the smallest unit of life.
