New Balance’s custom NB1 shoes now include the premium “574” with Swarovski crystals!

New Balance’s original shoe customization service “NB1” introduces the premium “574” with Swarovski crystals, which will be available for order in limited quantities starting Friday, March 16, 2018.

The “574” is a classic New Balance model that was created in the late 1990s, inspired by the “576” released in 1988. The limited edition model to be released this time features the N logo decorated with Swarovski crystals. The upper, vamp, and tongue are made of all-suede, while the heel tab and tongue label are made of pearlized leather.

The N-Logo is available in 12 colors, including the iconic New Balance “gray. The N logo is available in either “Gunmetal” or “Platinum” crystal, allowing you to design your own personalized “574. The special version comes with ribbon laces that match the crystals, a silver lace keeper, a shoe bag, and an original box.

What is NB1?

Shoe customization service started in 2011 in Boston, where New Balance headquarters is located. The service landed in Japan on August 31, 2017, as the first country in Asia to introduce the service. Customers can choose their favorite parts from a palette of colors and materials that is renewed each season, and design their own heels with embroidered messages. About 18 parts of the shoe can be customized, including the material and color of the shoe’s base, mesh, vamp, heel, saddle, tongue, and stitching. With numerous options available, you can order a pair that is uniquely yours.
