New Balance celebrates the 35th anniversary of its Flimby, England factory with the Flimby 35th Anniversary Pack!

Since 1982, the New Balance factory in Flimby, Cumbria, has made a significant impact in the community with its craftsmanship, footwear manufacturing skills and experience. New Balance has been manufacturing athletic footwear in the UK for 35 years and is the only global athletic brand to continue to manufacture in the UK today. To celebrate the 35th anniversary of the Flimby factory in the U.K., where New Balance’s shoes are made in the U.K., the “Flimby 35th Anniversary Pack” is now available.

It is no exaggeration to say that the “M991,” “M770,” and “M1500,” born of the craftsmanship of the Flimby factory’s artisans, are the symbolic models of Made in U.K. These three beloved models will be available in premium navy and gray, New Balance’s historic colors, from August 10 (Thu.) exclusively at the stores where they are deployed.

M770

Originally released in the 1980s, the ” 770 ” was designed to provide both cushioning and stability by layering two parts of the heel to ensure firm stability.
In addition, EVA is placed around the perimeter of the midsole rearfoot, adopting a structure to alleviate the blurring that occurs when walking on the ground, it also has functionality.

The “1500” was introduced in 1989 with a revolutionary one-piece molded midsole.
