The world’s first “NIPPON MADE” specialty store under the “ONITSUKA TIGER” brand!

ASICS Japan will open the world’s first “Onitsuka Tiger Omotesando NIPPON MADE” store specializing in the “NIPPON MADE” series under the “Onitsuka Tiger” brand on Friday, September 29, 2012.

The design concept of Onitsuka Tiger Omotesando NIPPON MADE is “Japanese” x “mode” and incorporates the key colors of the “NIPPON MADE” series. The interior of the store is based on white, with red used as an accent color for the lower part of the fixtures and gold for the facade, which is the front part of the building. The floor is carpeted to create a simple gallery-like space. The ceiling and façade are covered with louvers, creating a design that combines Japanese elements and a mode atmosphere.

Limited edition of ” MEXICO 66 DELUXE

To celebrate the opening, a limited edition of 250 pairs of “MEXICO 66 DELUXE” shoes with prints of past models on the upper will be sold. The “MEXICO 66” is one of the brand’s most iconic shoes and is also used in the “NIPPON MADE” line.
