Black Nikka Clear Highball
“Black Nikka Clear Highball,” to be released on Tuesday, April 7, was developed based on “Black Nikka Clear,” a blended whiskey that uses non-piped malt and has a deliberately low smokiness. The clear, unctuous taste makes it easy to drink, and the canned highball goes well with any meal. By combining Nikka Whisky’s whiskey blending technology with Asahi Beer’s accumulated knowledge of RTD* development, a harmony of whiskey-like flavor and a refreshingly clean aftertaste was achieved. The package is based on a simple white color scheme, with the icon of the King of Blenders, aka “Uncle Bearded Man,” and the “BLACK” logo, which was redesigned on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the Black Nikka brand, standing proudly in the center. The icon of the King of Blenders, the “Bearded Uncle,” and the “BLACK” logo are proudly placed in the center.
BLACK” stands for “Ready to Drink. The “Ready to Drink” brand is a term used to describe canned chuhai that can be consumed as-is after purchase.
