CASIO has announced a new G-SHOCK model, the G-SHOCK nano “DWN-5600,” the smallest ring-shaped G-SHOCK in history, equipped with a shock-resistant structure and 20 ATM water resistance, which will go on sale on November 8 (Saturday).

The smallest ring-shaped G-SHOCK in history! How much of its tough and convenient performance has been reproduced?
Casio released the ring watch “CRW-001” in December last year, which is a compact watch with clock functions in order to expand new possibilities for watches. It is still fresh in our minds that the product was such a big hit that it was in short supply immediately after its release. The long-awaited G-SHOCK series will release a new version of such a ring-size watch. The G-SHOCK nano “DWN-5600” is a ring-shaped G-SHOCK that is approximately one-tenth the size of a regular G-SHOCK*, but with a shock-resistant structure and 20 ATM water resistance. The design of the first G-Shock was compressed to 23.4mm x 20mm x 7.5mm.

The G-SHOCK nano “DWN-5600″ now features a shock-resistant structure in a smaller size through the use of compact components, including the battery, and high-density mounting technology that allows for precise placement in a small space. The intricate bezel and band have been faithfully reproduced in detail using injection molding technology, while the buttons, bezel lock, and back cover are made of the same stainless steel material as regular G-Shock watches. The face is a digital LCD with the same six-digit display as the ” 5600. Furthermore, as with the regular-sized resin models, a band hole system is used, allowing the fit to be freely adjusted to the thickness of the wearer’s fingers.
Small, but still functional G-SHOCK!The basic performance such as stopwatch and dual time as well as shock-resistant structure is faithfully reproduced.
On the functional side, the watch displays hours, minutes, and seconds, has a calendar, LED backlight, stopwatch, and dual time that can display two different times at the same time, so even though it is small, the basic performance of a G-SHOCK is solid. The G-Shock is also equipped with a ring watch that can actually be used as a ring watch. The watch also comes with a display stand in the shape of the G mark so that it can be worn as a ring watch or displayed as part of a collection. The package is also ideal as a gift.
