Casio’s G-SHOCK, a popular shock-resistant watch, has released a new model in collaboration with “FC Barcelona MATCHDAY,” a documentary program about the prestigious Spanish soccer club FC Barcelona. The “GBD-H1000BAR” and “GBD-100BAR” models will go on sale on January 14, 2022 (Friday).

G-SHOCK has teamed up with “FC Barcelona MATCHDAY,” a documentary program that closely follows the players of FC Barcelona, a team that fascinates soccer fans around the world. Based on the GBD-H1000 and GBD-100 series of the “G-SQUAD” sports line, the most distinctive feature of the watch is the FC Barcelona team colors used on the body. The navy blue and engine blue that symbolize the club, and the yellow of the uniform worn away from home, are used as accents. The band is designed in the motif of past uniforms and is printed with the words ” Més que un club,” which means “More than a club,” the team slogan. The four lines printed on the loop are inspired by the flag of Catalonia, the club’s home region. The back of the watch is also engraved with the FC Barcelona emblem and the ” MATCHDAY ” logo. The bezel of the ” GBD-100BAR-4JR ” is decorated with a shiny gold IP that resembles a championship cup.
