Actor and photographer Masanobu Ando spins the world of the 50th anniversary in this gorgeous campaign visual celebrating the 50th anniversary as the photographer. The campaign features Takeo Kikuchi, founder of Men’s Bigi, creative director Shinsuke Nakata, actor Takayuki Yamada, stylist Atsushi Okubo, and Men’s Bigi director Toshiyuki Suzuki as models, and Masanobu Ando himself in the collective visuals. The special campaign visuals symbolize the era and spirit of Men’s Bigi, as they wear the collaboration items commemorating the 50th anniversary and are captured from Mr. Ando’s unique point of view.

Men's Bigi 50th Anniversary Project 1Collaboration with the founder, Takeo Kikuchi
Takeo Kikuchi, who founded Men’s Bigi in 1975 and led the brand until 1983, is participating in this 50th anniversary project. After a lapse of about 40 years, Takeo Kikuchi reunited with Men’s Bigi for this collaboration, and rather than reprinting the atmosphere and styles of the 70s and 80s as they were, he reconstructed them from a modern perspective, passing on Men’s Bigi’s identity to the next generation and redefining the core styles of the brand. The collection will be developed. Details of the collaborative items will be released soon.

A collaboration project by Creative Director Shinsuke Nakata will also be launched, reinterpreting the mood of the 1980s with a modern sensibility, The project proposes a new ” everyday wear ” that combines vintage and modern styles. Details of this project will be announced on a special page soon.
