The original “BLACK BAY” color “burgundy bezel” is now available in a thinner version!
The latest version of Tudor’s iconic “BLACK BAY” watch is now available in a burgundy color reminiscent of the original. The case is thinner than the previous model while maintaining the original size of 41mm. The sides of the unidirectional rotating bezel are grippy, and the insert displays curved numerals that follow the contours of the outer ring. And this piece is equipped with the MT5602-U, a manufacture caliber. The MT5602-U has the look and feel of a typical Tudor Manufacture caliber, with a laser-engraved sun motif and Master Chronometer markings on the bridges to emphasize its outstanding performance. When tested as a wristwatch, the MT5602-U has achieved the high standard of a day difference within 5 seconds (0/+5 seconds). The watch is also ” weekend-proof ” with a power reserve of approximately 70 hours.

The “BLACK BAY 54” model faithfully inherits the characteristics of Tudor’s first diver’s watch, Ref. 7922, launched in 1954. The watch reflects the characteristics of the watches Tudor created for divers in the early 50s, including a 37mm case that retains the classic balance of yesteryear, the Tudor Manufacture caliber MT5400, which boasts a depth rating of 200 meters, and a unidirectional rotating bezel engraved with numerals only. In addition, the second hand has a lollipop design reminiscent of the first model. The bracelet is made of brushed three-row link steel with a “T-fit” quick-adjust clasp for self-sizing, allowing the wearer to adjust the 8mm length in five positions with a simple, tool-free operation. The strap is available in three sizes.

A steel model from the Black Bay collection is now available. The dials are available in three colors: blue, anthracite, and light champagne. Each is available in four sizes, with a fixed bezel and a self-adjusting five-row link bracelet, all equipped with Manufacture calibers. The cases have sleek, sophisticated curves that reflect the solid Black Bay aesthetic. The polished sides of the case gently bulge out, and the newly designed crown is perfectly aligned. In addition to the seductive curves, the polished bezel and crown are a continuation of the S&G model introduced last year. Also new to this model is a 316L steel bracelet with five rows of links. It is also equipped with Tudor’s proprietary “T-fit” adjusting system.
BLACK BAY GMT ” The “Opaline Dial” in the color of Pepsi had its debut!
Tudor has released the 2018 Black Bay GMT with a blue-red bezel, a.k.a. Pepsi-colored dial. The opaline color is not completely white, but has a faint silver tinge. The dial is also treated with a white-gray matte finish by galvanic treatment, and the markers are surrounded by a subdued color to create a contrast and achieve high legibility. The opaline dial contrasts with the satin-brushed steel crown, which is used for the first time in the Black Bay line, and the hour markers with luminescent paint ensure legibility at night.
