Denim is made of flame-retardant modacrylic fiber, which stops burning as soon as it is removed from a fire. Modacryl fiber does not melt and carbonizes when it burns, so it does not lose its functionality when washed. This is a unique Lee denim item with outdoor-oriented functions for camping and other situations where fire is used, while at the same time enjoying the unique changes in denim.

The weft has been updated with flame-retardant modacrylic fiber and coated with a flame-retardant pigment to further improve its flame-retardant performance. The surface coating, which is also used for military tents, is effective in preventing water from entering the fabric, making it suitable for a variety of outdoor activities.
