Edwin launches "Re:dwin," a jeans repair and mending service.

Japanese jeans brand EDWIN has launched “Re:dwin,” a jeans repair and maintenance service, as part of its sustainability activities. In addition to tears and fraying, the service also includes replacement of zippers, buttons, and other parts, as well as hemming. The company also accepts non-Edouin jeans.

edoin’s new “Re:dwin” service allows you to wear your beloved jeans for many years to come

EDUYNE is particular about all processes, including threads, fabrics, sewing, and wash processing, and creates ideal jeans while evolving them on a daily basis. The company is also actively involved in sustainable activities such as “CO:RE,” a recyclable jeans project that reuses jeans that are no longer needed. The new initiative, Redouin, is a repair and maintenance service to ensure that jeans can be worn for a long time. The company’s own factory in Tohoku enables repairs to be made using the same manufacturing methods and in the same environment as Edouin products.

The service includes special repairs that make rips and holes as inconspicuous as possible, using multiple colors and thicknesses of thread and other complex repair methods to make repair marks invisible. Reasonable Regular Repair is a normal repair in which a cloth is applied to the back to prevent the damage from spreading, giving the jeans a remake-like finish. We also offer hemming services for a natural finish with a bite finish, as well as for loose stitches around pockets and on the sides. For frequently used zipper malfunctions and button detachments, we use genuine Edoin parts to replace them. Edoin jeans can be repaired at 20% off the regular price.
