New collection of sustainability strategy started from 2020SS!
Launched in January of this year, the “FOR RESPONSIBLE LIVING” strategy articulates the actions DIESEL must take to ensure its continued success in an ever-changing world, now and for future generations. It is based on four pillars, “Be The Alternative,” “Stand For The Plane,” “Celebrate Individuality,” “Promote Integrity,” and “Live Responsibly. The items will be labeled with a special green label.
New denim collection ” RESPECTFUL DENIM with DIESEL DNA ” plus a wide range of other items!
The new men’s collection for 2020FW includes three denim styles as well as T-shirts, sweatshirts, and other non-denim items. All denim items use the least amount of Green Screen certified chemicals and use up to 40% less water than conventional methods. It has the same look as denim, but uses innovative technology that significantly reduces the use of water and chemicals in the manufacturing process.
T-shirts and sweatshirts are made from a hybrid of recycled fibers, organic cotton and recycled polyester, with DIESEL’s “D” logo as the recycling symbol The Diesel “D” logo is printed with a graphic that reconstructs the Diesel logo into a recycled symbol. Flannel shirts are made exclusively from organic cotton grown without synthetic chemicals or genetically modified seeds, and the double-breasted coats, available in short and long lengths, are made of 75% recycled wool.
