Celebrating its 30th anniversary, ASICS launches the “GEL-LYTE XXX,” a modern update of the famous GEL-LYTE III

The ” GEL-LYTE XXX ” inherits the beliefs of the base model with a modern and sophisticated finish

This edition of the GEL-LYTE XXX features an updated split tongue and midsole. The split tongue is made of a thin, translucent sheer material. It provides a comfortable fit that wraps around the instep and creates a modern, sophisticated atmosphere.

The midsole is made entirely of FLYTEFOAM, a proprietary lightweight sponge material with excellent cushioning properties that is also used in ASICS running shoes for athletes. The boldly protruding heel and structured, voluminous silhouette give a modern impression.

Ryota Kitami of ASICS Japan was in charge of designing the new model, learning from Shigeyuki Mitsui, the creator of the GEL-LYTE III, that each part of a shoe has its own story, and inheriting his beliefs in design. Check out the GEL-LYTE XXX, an updated version of ASICS’ iconic model that combines tradition and advanced functionality.
