(1) “QUESTION” expresses the “skepticism” toward the No. 1 draft pick.
Allen Iverson, the first overall draft pick in 1996, was involved in a brawl before entering the league. The public was skeptical that Iverson was really worthy of being drafted No. 1, but Reebok took advantage of the public’s skepticism and named the first Iverson signature model ” QUESTION. QUESTION” (back row). The coloring is the team colors of Iverson’s beloved alma mater, Georgetown University.
(2) “ANSWER,” a solid answer given by the legend through his play when asked about the true value of the No. 1 draft pick.
Iverson’s second signature model, released in 1997, was based on an episode in which Iverson “answered” the question with results. The second signature model, released in 1997, was named “ANSWER” based on an episode in which Iverson showed “the answer” in a result, and became the first issue of the “ANSWER series” that would follow (back row of photos). The colors are “white and red,” a tribute to the Philadelphia Seventy-Sixers, who drafted the team.
(3) “ANSWER V”, the sixth version of the signature model worn by Iverson in his prime
Released in 2001, the year Iverson reached maturity after winning the Scorer and Steeler titles two years in a row, the “ANSWER V” was the sixth model in the Signature Series (pictured back row). The contrast between matte black and glossy silver, which creates an urban atmosphere, makes for a striking pair.
