Black” is recognized as a color used for formal wear in the classics. The sharp appearance of black gives a modern impression of urban class to an outfit. In recent years, the number of people who wear black as street wear has been increasing rapidly. Why has the use of black become so widespread in recent years? I think the main reason why black has become more common is because Italians have started wearing black shoes. Before, the leather shoes worn by Italians were generally brown. Most people thought black shoes were too stoic, but over the past two or three years, black shoes have become the norm. I have the impression that the number of people who wear black innerwear has increased as well. A black turtleneck is worn as an inner layer with a navy suit. I also saw black turtlenecks worn as innerwear with navy suits at Pitti Uomo.
