What is “Converse”?

Two rain shoe series from Converse
Unfortunately, the canvas used in many Converse models is not suited for rainy weather, as it is not a material designed for rain. However, an innovative series of “rain shoes” has been developed to allow users to enjoy Converse items even in the rain. GORE-TEX (Gore-Tex),” which is used in various items as a synonym for waterproof and breathable material, has been adopted by Converse to create this series. Because of the high humidity on rainy days, waterproof shoes tend to make the inside of the shoe stuffy, but sneakers that use GORE-TEX, which is both waterproof and breathable, have no problem. Converse Rain Shoes Series ➁ “All Star Light WR SL
The ” All Star Light WR SL ” series features a rubber-like water-repellent material for the upper. The series is based on the motif of the lightest rain boots in the history of the All Star line, and its minimalist look and matte texture are appealing for adding a twist to your outfits. The gusseted tongue is covered with a pouch to prevent water and mud from entering through the side of the shoe. The outsole incorporates a bulging injection E.V.A. sole that is lightweight, resilient, and highly resistant to moisture, creating a light footing and making the material suitable for wet weather. The insole is made of a urethane material with an open-cell structure that provides excellent breathability and cushioning, and also enhances comfort when worn. The outsole is equipped with a “Traction Sole” with enhanced slip resistance, making walking in the rain less slippery.
